A very busy day!

Today was a busy day for 3MB. First we had lunch with our 2KR buddies. It was great to have a catch up.

After lunch, we went to the kitchen to do some cooking. We baked delicious ‘Jam donut muffins’. They were amazing!

Well done 3MB on a very productive day!

This term our integrated topic is Endangered Animals. This week we are learning about orang-utans. We have discussed their appearance, diet and habitat. We loved listening to the noises they make and watching a YouTube clip showing orang-utans using nails, hammers and saws after watching humans. We also discussed why they have become endangered!

We had lots of fun making our own orang-utans to display in our classroom!

First Aid

On Monday, 4th May, 3MB took part in a first aid session. We learnt the acronym DRSABCD, and practised how we would respond in an emergency. We all know how to assess for danger, keep ourselves safe, check if someone is able to respond and also how to call 000 in an emergency. Well done 3MB!

Well done to Ebony who came 1st against the Grade 4’s.
